Here are some paintings straight from the horse's mouth - literally! The horses painted these with acrylic paints. I put the paints on a paper plate and they dipped their noses, whiskers, and lips into the paint and rubbed it on the paper. Each horse then "signed" his work by pressing his hoof to the paper. Each painting is completed with a twist of tail hair from the equine artist. All paintings are done on quality watercolor paper and framed with a simple black frame. Standard sizes are 11x14 and 5x7. We only paint when the weather is good. Too much wind gets dust, dirt, and hair stuck in the paint, and when it's too cold, they don't want to get their noses covered in paint because then we have to wash them off afterward with cold water. Each piece is unique because it's done by a horse. You can select up to three colors for your painting and can choose your equine artist. Prices are below, plus any shipping cost.

I'm a Table Too (Table) is a retired Standardbred pacing horse. He was very successful at the harness track but is a lazy lovebug now that he is retired. You can hardly get him to trot! He loves attention and lets all the kids in the neighborhood ride him. He likes to give hugs and he can smile on command.

Benny's Bear Cat (Whinny) is a retired Thoroughbred race horse. He won a few races, and although he wasn't fast enough to keep on the track, he still really loves to run. He then had a busy career as my show horse. He has done hunters, jumpers, dressage, eventing, barrel racing, parades, judged trail rides, sidesaddle, pleasure trail rides, 4-H, and recently got fourth place in his first ACTHA ride. He is my best friend. He loves carrots and knows how to bow for treats.

Reno is a registered Standardbred, but we don't have his complete history. We believe he may have raced for a short time, based on information that his previous owner gave. He is in his mid- to late-20s and is sort of grouchy. He likes women best, but he has to get to know you and you better give him lots of treats if you want him to be your pal! He likes to have his face rubbed. He is tough like a mule and very sure-footed. He likes to trail ride and, because he is gaited, he is very comfortable. He has lots of get-up-and-go for an old man and will race Whinny at the drop of a hat.
